Let’s Look At The Most Interesting Elden Ring Map Guides

Now that Elden Ring is out, thousands of gamers across the world want to get to know West Limgrave, the Royal Capital, the New Region, the West Side, the Ainsel River, the inner Consecrated Snowfield, the Siofra Aqueduct, the Altus Plateau, and much more beautiful and challenging sites.

Generally speaking, the Elden Ring map size is one of the most challenging aspects of the game. Therefore finding two map fragments is an achievement itself, and locating three map fragments is even better. Even though the task might seem impossible at first, if you know how to find your way around the vast regions, you can achieve it.

Passionate gamers prefer exploring the game for hours until they find every new region they can. If this is your case, you might want to avoid interactive maps and guides. Nonetheless, since the game is so varied and detailed, you can follow instructions and still come across numerous challenges that test your skills.

Elden Ring gives you fallen ruins, NPC invader sites, cliffs, hills, rope bridges, frozen rivers, snowstorms, open paths, and much more to enjoy. With this guide, you’re able to find all the fragments you desperately want to collect, so read until the end and closely follow the instructions to identify what you want.

Map Fragment Locations

Elden Ring is an innovative game and it has revolutionized the industry, as well as many gamers’ lives, with its vast lands and numerous adventures.

If you want to find all the fragment location sites, knowing where you can find them is the best way to go. Take a look at the following directions:

West Limgrave

In the Elden Ring map, you can grab this fragment location if you go to the center of the Gatehouse Ruins Camp.

Nonetheless, there are several enemies here. If you don’t want to deal with them, you can use Torrent, run through, and grab the fragment instead.

East Limgrave

Another map fragment you can grab is the East Limgrave location. You can arrive here if you go south from the road that runs through Mistwood.

Find the giant Erdtree, and on the left side of the road, you can grab this map fragment. Another way to locate it is to spot the Mistwood Ruins.

Once you identify the ruins, the map fragment is near the northeast side of them. When you’re walking there, you might find a bear too, but it won’t represent any harm.

If you can make a quick getaway, you can try to get the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook from the corpse that’s right next to the bear.

Weeping Peninsula

By taking a look at the Elden Ring map, you might notice that the next spot you should go to is the Weeping Peninsula. Once you’re in East Limgrave, head south to find this next map fragment.

Keep going down the road toward the south, and you can find a troll, a broken carriage, trolls, and a Teardrop Scarab. Then, it’s likely you can see a castle in the distance, which means that the map pillar is nearby.

The pillar should be on the right side of the road in front of you. Nonetheless, you should watch out for the archer of the Ruin Golem.

Dragonbarrow

You can also find the Dragonbarrow map fragment location if you’re in East Limgrave. To locate it, you must travel toward the east, past the ruined caravan and the dogs in the Elden Ring map.

Continue going east (you might see more dogs to the right), and once you find the ravine’s thinnest point, hop over it.

If you keep walking, you can find the Dragonbarrow West Site of Grace, and the map pillar is along that road. You’ll also find very big dragons, though, so remember that as well.

Caelid Map Fragment Location

To find the Caelid Elden Ring map location, you must go from the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace. Pass the ruined caravan and continue on past the Caelem Ruins and the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace.

Eventually, you might find the Caelid Waypoint ruins, which can lead you to one map fragment as well.

However, you must keep walking until the road turns eastwards. Then, walk past the sleeping dragon and the fork in the road will point you to the map fragment.

East Liurnia

You can find the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace if you start at the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace and go west. If you go past the soldier camp, follow the waterlogged road – it’s easy to find because lanterns and walls mark it.

The pillar is on the right, but it’s surrounded by enemies. Therefore, if you want to find all map fragments (including this one) in Elden Ring map, you have to defeat them.

North Liurnia

In the interactive map, the easiest way to find this map fragment is to locate the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace.

Firstly, if you’re already in the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace, you must go to the northwest and keep going until you find the academy gate town on the right side, which is sunken.

There’s something you should keep in mind when you examine all map fragment locations – you might miss them if you keep going for too long.

In this case, to find the map fragment, if you find three giant lobster monsters, it means you walked for too long and you have to go back. Go northeast to find the town again.

At the same time, just like a lot of map fragments, to get this one, you must defeat numerous enemies, so keep that in mind as well.

West Liurnia Map Fragment

The West Liurnia Elden Ring map fragment is next to the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace located in the Elden Ring map.

First of all, you must head north-west coming from the lake water. Then, follow the bank that’s on the left side of the region while going up the bank.

To find this Elden Ring map fragment, you have to go past the Four Belfries, the convoy, and the military camp.

As with other map fragment locations, you must be well aware of your surroundings. In this case, the map fragment pillar is on the left side of the road, just beyond the Northern Site of Grace.

Gelmir

Another Elden Ring map fragment you can get is Mt. Gelmir’s. However, compared to the Rot map fragment location, the Siofra River bank site, the volcano manor, the Grand Lift, the Royal Capital, the Ainsel River, and many other map fragments, it’s very tricky to navigate.

To find this map fragment you have to make it to the map pillar by taking it to the mountains. You must go west along the road first and find a ladder on your left side.

Once you do, keep going west and go to the soldiers’ camp with the siege tower. If you continue on, you should be able to locate a pumpkin head with a rocky outcrop, and behind this, there’s a specific spot where you can jump to the next cliff.

By now, you should have two or three map fragments already. Nonetheless, this one is much more challenging, and it’s definitely one of the most complicated tasks that Elden Ring presents you with.

Once you have located the next cliff, climb the second ladder while watching out for the Grafted Scion that comes from above.

Watch out for the numerous marionette enemies and climb until you reach the top, where a soldier camp lies. Then, you must take the route on your left, go through the camp, and cross the wooden rope bridge.

Your next challenge is to jump to the boss crater using the Spirit Spring. After that, you have to jump the gap by veering onto the rocky outcrops (you must go westwards for this).

Once you find the nearest Site of Grace (the Road of Iniquity one), it means the map fragment is nearby. Drop until you find the pillar, but make sure to watch out for the giant hand monster.

Altus Plateau

You can go to the Altus Plateau after North Liurnia, especially considering that you must have both halves of the Dectus Medallion and activate the Grand Lift of Dectus.

This map fragment’s pillar is on your left side, and you can find it by going left on the fork in the road at the Elden Ring map.

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Compared to previous challenges, this one is not as demanding. To locate the map fragment, make it up the stairway into the city.

You have to go past the Three Sentinels (ironically, there are two of them) and find a golden sapling with the map pillar off to the side.

Moghwyn Palace

Many Elden Ring map fragments require you to locate a specific point in the map for you to find the pillar itself. On this occasion, you have to identify the Palace Approach Gate.

If you spot a hill on your right, you’re on the right path. Gallop down until you’re inside the water and run along the place’s left side.

At this point, the road should lead you to a broken statue and some ruins. The map fragment is up the stairs, and a dead body is holding it.

Siofra River

To find the Siofra River map fragment, you have to locate the Mist Wood and the Siofra River Well itself. Go underground and keep going forward until you go past the big crab.

After that, go east and find a body containing a stag body near the steps of the temple. Here, you can find the map fragment you’re missing.

Lake of Rot

This is one of the easiest Elden Ring map fragments to find. It’s on a dead body if you go south from the Lake of Rot Shoreside Grace.

Ainsel River

Firstly, spot the Ainsel River Main Grace. After that, you have to use the tunnel to go down. Locate various coffins and keep going until you enter an open cavern that has statues on it.

If you follow the right path, you might notice that you’re near the next Grace. This one should touch you, and you must use the elevator to head right through the next door.

Your goal at this point is to get underneath the following enemy using the path to your right. If you succeed, you’ll be able to find one map fragment slumped next to a merchant’s body.

West Mountaintops of the Giants

The East and West Giant Mountaintops map fragments are not particularly challenging to find, especially if you carefully follow the instructions.

To find the West Mountaintops fragment, head along the track from where the Grand Lift of Rold comes up, and the pillar is right there.

East Mountaintops of the Giants

In the case of the East Mountaintops fragment location, you have to find Whiteridge Road, head southwards through the fort, and find the pillar across the chain bridge.

Consecrated Snowfield

Now that you’ve found at least two map fragments (a lot more if you’ve followed the instructions correctly), the only one that’s left in the Elden Ring map is the one from the Consecrated Snowfield.

You have to use the Haligtree Secret Medallion to locate this and go to the Haligtree Dungeon by the secret path.

Continue through the road that the map marks and keep going one you see that a snowstorm starts occurring around you. Eventually, you’ll emerge from it and find the map pillar next to a frozen river.
